Fall 2026 Marketing Internship
— Nashville & Remote
Most marketing internships hand you a corner of a campaign someone else designed. This one hands you the whole brand of a growing independent investment firm — strategy, social, advertising, content, and the numbers behind them — working directly with the founder. Wealth management is one of the most trust-dependent and most regulated categories in marketing, which makes it one of the best places to learn to do it well.
Infinitus Wealth Management · Nashville · We Don't Just Manage Wealth. We Build It.
The Program
-
Open to undergraduate and graduate students — marketing, communications, business, design, journalism, or any field where you have built an audience or a brand.
-
Unpaid, and deliberately flexible — this is an educational internship rather than a salaried position. In exchange, the structure is lighter than a corporate program: hours set around your coursework, remote optional, and work organized around campaigns and projects rather than a fixed desk schedule. Academic credit is welcome where your program allows it.
-
Direct access, real scope — you work with the founder directly on a brand that is actively being built, not maintained. Your ideas get tested, not filed.
-
A portfolio you can show — by the end of the term you will have shipped campaigns, content, and analysis under a real brand in a category most marketers never get to touch.
What You Will Do
-
Marketing strategy — help define positioning and messaging for the firm’s target segments: business owners, athletes and entertainers, professionals, veterans, and institutions
-
Social media — plan and produce for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube: content calendars, short-form video and Reels, carousel and graphic posts, and community engagement
-
Paid advertising — research, propose, and help run campaigns across search and social (Google, LinkedIn, Meta), including audience targeting, creative, budgets, and performance tracking
-
SEO and content — support a twice-weekly publishing engine: keyword research, article briefs, on-page optimization, and repurposing long-form pieces into social and video
-
Video — script, storyboard, and edit short-form video using the firm’s AI-assisted production tools
-
Email marketing — design newsletter and nurture sequences, and test subject lines, layouts, and cadence
-
Brand and design — produce on-brand graphics, mobile assets, and one-pagers within the firm’s design system
-
Analytics — read GA4, Search Console, and social insights; report what is working and recommend what to change
-
Local and event marketing — research Nashville community, sports, music, and veteran channels where the firm should be present
-
Competitive research — study how other firms market and where the openings are
-
Compliance-aware marketing — learn how the SEC Marketing Rule shapes what an investment adviser can say, and build creative that is persuasive and compliant — every piece is reviewed before it goes live
-
Own one campaign across the term, from strategy through results, presented to the founder at the end
Who We Are Looking For
-
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
-
Strong writing and a good eye — you can make a clean graphic, a clear post, and a tight caption
-
Fluency in the platforms: LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and the tools around them (Canva, CapCut or similar editors, scheduling tools)
-
Curiosity about the numbers — you want to know whether it worked, not just whether it looked good
-
Comfort working within guidelines: every piece of investment-adviser marketing is reviewed, and the best marketers here treat that as a creative constraint, not an obstacle
-
The self-direction a flexible program requires
-
Interest in finance or investing is a plus, not a requirement — we will teach you the category
